Privacy notice
Short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and keeps nothing you type into it.

Who we are
This website is run by Charterstone Tech ("we"). For this website we are the controller of the personal data described below. You can contact us at info@charterstonetech.com. Our business details are on the business information page.
Visiting the website
- No cookies, no tracking. We don't set cookies, use analytics, load advertising or social-media scripts, or use any third-party fonts or code.
- Delivery network. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it and speeds it up. Like any web server, Cloudflare and our server briefly process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block attacks. We don't use this data to identify or profile you.
The contact form
The brief on our contact page doesn't send anything to us or anyone else. It only prepares an email in your own mail app. Nothing leaves your device until you press Send there.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Email to our address is routed by Cloudflare to our mailbox provider. We keep enquiry emails for up to two years after our last contact unless they become part of a client relationship, and we never sell or share them for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email info@charterstonetech.com. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection regulator where you live. In the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Clients' products
This notice covers this website only. The products we run for clients have their own privacy notices, written by those clients, who are the controllers of their users' data.
Changes
If we change how this website handles personal data, we'll update this notice and the date at the top.
